After five and a half years as a solo practice in Marriage and Family Therapy, Happy Couples Healthy Communities is pleased to announce that Andréa Green-Soto, a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, and Sabrina Rensink, a Master’s Student Intern, are joining us. My hope is to make Happy Couples Healthy Communities both a first-choice provider of marriage and family therapy and a center for the training of marriage and family therapy.

Andréa Green-Soto
Andréa Green-Soto holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of South Carolina, and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Counseling/Therapy from Capella University. Andréa, originally from South Carolina, and her family have returned to Northeast Florida after their separation from active duty in 2015. Andréa has been an active member in both the Clay and Duval mental and behavioral health community ever since, but with an emphasis on working with the military and their families. She uses her experience as a military spouse, mother of two, and a bonus teenager, to engage with her clients in an understanding and empathetic manner as they create bonds to create goals and become the best version of themselves. Andréa loves to spend quality time with her husband and children, listening to music, trying new foods and restaurants, and visiting new places whenever she can.

Andréa’s specialties include Mental and emotional health disorders (i.e., Depression and anxiety), stress management, grief, blended families, couples/marital issues, LGBTQ, career/employment, adolescent concerns, parental challenges, trauma, military deployments for families, as well as the transition and readjustment back into civilian and family life.
